TOSDEF Newsletter: 2025 PROJECTIONS

Dear partner. Receive Calvary greetings of God’s love and our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. We thank God for giving us another year to serve Him in advancing His kingdom.
We did our funds drive last year on 8th Sep 2024 and through your partnership managed to raised ksh. 2,355,540 against our expectation of ksh. 3 million. First and foremost I want to thank you most sincerely for your generous giving that most has gone towards the transformation of our churches by upgrading the structures of our sanctuaries and giving them a good look. May the gracious Lord bless you.

Churches that benefited from a total of Ksh.1,625,000 in our 2024 budget

Five of our churches needed help in upgrading their sanctuaries, while one needed a boost in purchasing a plot adjacent to their church. Through your giving, a total of ksh. 1,625,000 went towards that.

We were able to salvage one church (KAG Njathaini) whose lease had expired by relocating it to a new strategic place (KAG River Island) where they’re worshipping now under a new sanctuary courtesy of Tosdef. KAG Kiwanja benefited by fixing the sanctuary’s shutter to provide the roof and make the new sanctuary useable. KAG Ndururumo benefited by finishing their toilet project, KAG Wellsprings benefited by having electricity connection, KAG Zimmerman and Evergreen benefited by having the floor done respectively and KAG Potter’s house benefited in purchasing a plot adjacent to the church.

2025 Projections

The projection for this year is to raise enough money and settle down at least one church in their own plot. So far we have seven churches operating on rental facilities and it’s our goal to settle them in their own plots to enable them to do the work of the ministry more effectively.
Our target for this year is to raise ksh. 7million ($55,200). Through our churches we’re looking forward to raise ksh. 3.6m ($28,350) and through strategic partners to raise the deficit of ksh. 3.4m ($26,770). With this amount we look forward to settle one church.

Meeting for strategizing heald on 9th March 2025

We held our first committee meeting for strategizing on 9th March 2025 and the following are 2025 projections:
• Challenges resume from 30th Mar 2025 twice a month – on 15th and 30th of every month up to 30th August 2025. (Challenges are mini funds drive).
• Tosdef breakfast on 17th May 2025.
• The main Tosdef funds drive will be on 14th September 2025.
• The working committee to do more sensitization to bring more partners on board as well as come up with other means of raising funds.
All the funds collected this year will go towards plot purchase because so far we’ve done enough on sanctuaries upgrades.
I call upon you to partner with us in making this vision a reality by settling churches that have no plots in their land. Remember Paul’s exhortation to Galatians
