I am Pastor Lucy Ngugi pastoring KAG Ndururumo church. I know Tosdef as a project we have in Thome Section that has been very beneficial to us. During the planting of our church, the first time Tosdef gave us ksh. 960,000 ($7,400). With that support we purchased one of the two plots we have each measuring 40x60. The second time Tosdef gave us ksh. 400,000 ($3,080) that was used to put up the washrooms as well as building children’s Sunday school classes. The third time Tosdef gave us ksh. 200,000 ($1,540) that was used to put up the sanctuary floor as well as fixing the window panes. We are grateful for such a wonderful project that has made it possible to do church plant.

I am the pastor of KAG Wellspring. I know Tosdef as a project that has supported our church; most specifically at the initial stage of church planting when we got stuck. I approached the leadership of Tosdef and gave us ksh. 300,000 ($2,308) that we used for the roofing as well as door fixing of our sanctuary. We are grateful to God for such a project in our Section and we give God all the glory.

I am Rev. Kenneth Kairu serving at KAG Kiwanja – a church that is seven years old. During the formative years; after purchasing our church plot Tosdef came in handy and gave us ksh. 300,000 ($ 2,308) that we spent in laying the foundation of our sanctuary. In the recent past Tosdef gave us ksh. 500,000 ($3,847) the fund that was used in the building the sanctuary which is an ongoing project and is yet to be completed. I don’t know what we have done without Tosdef. We are grateful to God for the transformation achieved through Tosdef.

I am Pastor John Chavene, pastoring at KAG Zimmerman church. Our church is four years old. Tosdef has been of great help to us through the funds we raise every year. We have benefitted twice from Tosdef during the construction of our sanctuary. The first time Tosdef gave us ksh. 440,000 ($3,384 the fund that went towards putting up an iron sheet structure. The second time we were given ksh. 260,000 ($2,000) towards the putting up the floor, doors and windows. Our sanctuary is 80% complete and we believe that we will finance the remaining 20%. We are hopeful that if Tosdef raise enough money we can be assisted to purchase the plot we’re leasing and settle the church permanently. The plot is very strategic for a church. Previously, before Tosdef came in we were worshipping at a small structure, but following the support we put up the sanctuary where we’re worshipping now. We are better placed now and we can say that through Tosdef we have seen the hand of God.

I am Pastor Peter Mwangi serving at KAG Marurui. The church is nine years old under a leased plot. Previously, we were worshipping at a classroom in one of the schools around. Later God opened a door and leased the plot where our sanctuary stands and we pay every month ksh. 15,000 ($116) as rent. At first we built a temporary structure that looked horrible and many people around this area could not want to be identified with it. But through Tosdef we were able to upgrade our sanctuary through the donation of ksh. 400,000 ($3,080). We also used some of the materials from our former sanctuary to complete the new sanctuary. I encourage everyone who will come across Tosdef to know their goal is all about service to the Kingdom of God through churches transformation.

I am Rev. Alex Ng’ang’a from KAG New Beginnings Mirema drive having pastored the church in the new location for three years. The story of our church cannot be told without mentioning Tosdef. Our church relocated from an estate called Zimmerman to the new location and Tosdef supported us with ksh. 800,000 ($6,154) to put up a tent where we are now worshipping. The church plant was enormous task with many bills to be paid and we had exhausted our resources. Tosdef support was Godly and timely and our church members are grateful for that. Tosdef has been a blessing to us and I urge many partners to join in to speed up the good work Tosdef is doing.
